    i have looked everywhere on the web that i can think of for performance mods for my 1996 xplorer 4.0 but i cant find much. and i would also like some sites on visual upgrades like bodykits. the only bodykit that i can find is the xenon one. please help..... :cool:

    There is not a ton of avalible aftermarkets parts for these trucks but there is a LOT of very educated and creative people here who have done a LOT with what has been given them.

    Look around for a little wile there is much to learn here.

    thanx yall. and yes i have tried explorerexpress but from what i found, they dont have any 4.0 parts.

    I got a MAC intake from them and a PRO-M MAS
    for my 4.0

    explorer express has a lowering kit that will fit yours for $170.00
    Check out the sport truck section of this site to find even more info on lowering and power upgrades. Is your 4.0 a SOHC or OHV? There are supercharger kits available for the OHV, Vortec was one, and they were supposed to be developing one for the SOHC last year.
