Factory security.

Hello all,

I am new to this forum and have just purchased a 1994 Ford Explorer and would like to know how to diable the factory security? I would like to diable it completely because you have to unlock the passenger door first to avoid it from going off and the people I bought it fromk informed me of this it does not have a keychain clicker.... any suggestions?

Your vehcile should not have factory security. Firt thing to do is lay on your back on the drivers side floor and look under the dash and find the module (box) for the alarm. Trace all wires to where they go within the fcatory harness. Cut the aftermarket ones out and reconnect factory harness. Some wires will probably just be spliced in. There all you do is remove aftermarket then tape the area that was cut. Just went through this on 7/17 with mine
