Ok, so for all you first gen owners looking for fender flares, here you go. These are pics of my sons 93 explorer sport with second gen flares. They fit perfectly; the body lines and curves, indentations are all the same, even the mounting screws and clips are the same on the sport. I am assuming it is the same on the 4 doors, the only modifications that are needed is holes drilled in the fenders and body molding (if you have it still) cut back about an inch to allow the flares to fit flush. keep in mind these are just taped in place, with the body molding cut back and pushed into place they do fit flush.

Hope this helps i know there are allot of you out there looking for fender flares and cant find them, my local wreckers charges $50.00 to $75.00 for the complete set.

Did you get the red stripe and cladding from the 2nd gen too?

Or is that what Canadian-model Sports look like on the side?
 












Or for 55$ you can get a 25ft roll of flexy flares off amazon. I like mine
