      it comes with a bunch of metal clips. Might need a small screw driver to get help get some of them open enough. took me 30 minutes to take the grille surround off, put the inserts in and put the shell back on (45min tops)

      Really I dont know, thats weird. Must just have to do with the colors I guess. Mine show a little from the right angle, but not that much. I would try some fine black mesh, like mesquito netting run a layer or three behind the inerst but infront of the vertical bars. I would think the clips would hold the netting in place. Just take a small screw driver to pry them open a little long enough to slip the netting in.

      Where did you get the gauges. I can only find the reverse indeglow.

      I got them off ebay. They seemed to always have 2 or 3 sets of them starting at 29.99+ shipping. Make sure to search for 98 Ranger too, same gauges but sometimes people hadnt bid on those when they had bid on the ones listed in the Explorer stuff. The auction says that they will fit the Explorer and Ranger

      Man if only someone made the cystal style lights for the Explorer, those two piece look kinda nasty. Still lookin for a lower bumper insert, 2" drop comin up soon too, so stay tuned!
