    Sold ---1997 explorer sport---trail ready---Sold

i'm trying to restore a couple of old ford's so i need to sell my explorer to raise some cash. the truck is a part time daily driver for me and is very reliable. it drives and rides great on the street or off road , cruises comfortably at 65 down the highway or put it in low and crawl over some rocks. overall the truck is in pretty good shape. the exterior has some trail rash (character marks) but the interior is in pretty good shape. the only problems i can think of are the ac doesn't work and the speedometer doesn't work either , it needs the adapter for the atlas 2 transfer case. here is a recent pic of the truck and a link to the rebuild thread i did when i picked up the truck , i've continued to work on the truck since that thread so some of the " still to do " are already done and then some. if your interested and would like some particular pics just let me know and i'll take some for you.

    some of the mods :
    35" pro comp mud terrains
atlas 2 with 5:1 low ratio (less than 1K miles on it)
    4.10's locked front and rear
    custom rock sliders
    full size spare
    60" high lift jack

Sold ---price is $2000 and the truck is located in Alexandria , VA. --- Sold

    i know she's been around here a while :D

that's why i thought someone around here might want a good wheeler. i put alot of time into her getting her back on the road , it doesn't look it but it's prob the most dependable vehicle i have. i might put it up on the local craigslist this fall or just keep her and hope for some good snowfall this winter :biggthump

bumpin it up with a one time price drop

the atlas 2 uses a jeep speedo gear so they sell an adapter to connect the explorer harness to the jeep gear. and yes she's still available if your interested.
