There was a thread on this a while back. A bunch of us, myself included, bought new switches at the dealer and installed them ourselves.

If you have the red one, you need to get the black one

Is actually pretty dirty right now.
    Cover your open intake only.
On a cold engine, spray all down with simple green (let set 10 mins)
    Hose it all off.
Blow it down with a yard blower, go for a drive.
Let cool, spray it all down with pigspit, wipe off eccess,Enjoy.

Just another article link. I'll post up the details as soon as I can find them on OASIS. (Kind of surprised they're not up already....)

I'm sure that owners of affected vehicles will be notified shortly.

so does it include the 95 explorer or not? it seems like every other one says it does then others dont.... BTW can they look up to see if any of the past recalls had been performed? Do recalls still apply to 3rd owners?

Called a local dealer, found out the recall was for 98 Explorers with cruise control. My Sport doesn't have it so I'm good

You wont need the letter; they can get your info from your VIN.
