I just took a quick look at the front bump stops that I'm going to replace and they don't look very easy to get out.

How do you guys do it?

Thanks,

Jim

Isn't it just bolted with one bolt? One right size socket and a small extension might just do the trick. If not, BFH! :D

yeah, just need a socket and the head of the bolt is in the hole in the bottom of the bump stop.

Is there enough room to get a socket between the nut and lower control arm? Looks really tight.

Jack up the front end if you dont think you have enough room.

All I did was jack up the front, make certain to use jack stands and chock the rear wheels, and use a 1/4 inch ratchet with a small extension and It is either a 8mm or 10mm socket.

Now that was easy. Once I jacked it up there was just enough room for a deep well 10mm and a ratchet. Thanks guys.

Next is shocks, blocks, and camber plates next week when they arrive.

What did you replace the bumpstops with?

I replaced them with Energy Suspension stops for lowered Xs. The front are a little smaller and softer and the rear are hollow and softer thus the rear works progressivly.
