1997 Explorer limited
Hello, i am new to this forum so i hope i am posting this in the right place. I installed a subwoofer, and amp in my 1997 ford explorer limited, and i have the wire that tells the amp to turn on (i know that's not the official name, but bear with me) wired to the antenna fuse, but that only works when i have the radio on. I recently bought a cassette to AUX adapter, but the subwoofer doesn't work when i use cassette, does anyone know a good fuse to wire it to? Any help is appreciated.

The remote turn on should be wired to either something in the ignition circuit (only receives power when the key is turned to ignition) or a constant 12v on a toggle switch. You would benefit most from replacing the stock radio with a simple aftermarket one and using the remote turn on output. It would be a much higher quality sound than using a cassette adapter as well.
