To-Do List:
Exterior:
Tow points front & rear
SOA /w '98 axle swap, front lift to match:
Currently looking at either http://www.superlift.com/lift-kits/...mazda-explorer-navajo-suspension-lift-kit.asp OR http://www.superlift.com/lift-kits/...rer-navajo-superunner-suspension-lift-kit.asp for the front lift. Only real difference between the two are the added radius arms. The 5.5" duff kit is a bit out of my price range so I am figuring this and a SOA will work well enough.

Relocate CB to ash trey
Dedicated 12V 10A DC Socket x2, 5V 2A USB x4, and 120V AC circuits

Mad, your build is what inspired me to make a list here. Love your rig =)

Currently I am just trying to get my X up and ready for the Moab trip in May. I'd like to meet up with the guys on here who are going, but even if we don't, it will still be a fun trip.

Top of the list are new tires and an SOA mod. I have an axle from a gen2 my gf and I pulled from a local scrap yard on one of our date nights. Having it out of the vehicle already will give me some room to work on the spring perches and fit them without disabling the rig for an extended period. The gears are the same as I currently have so it should be plug and play after the mounts are done.

Originally I was going to wait on the SOA until i had the time to put new gears in, but this past trip to to the Grand Canyon changed my mind. Rather than going through one of the indian reservations (they wanted $50/vehicle to pass and we would only be on their lands for 2 miles) my buddy and I took a cow trail that was following the border fence. At the end of the trail was maybe a 30ft drop over a distance of 40ft. No problem going down, but going back up I kept catching my spring perches on the cliff edge. Ended up making it on the fourth attempt but the perches look like golf balls. Need some clearance.

This weekend I hope to grab some tow hooks and mount them someplace just to meet the requirements for the trip.
