I have a 2000 XLT 4.0 OHV that will not start when warm without pumping the accelerator, then when it starts it has a rough idle, and a noise coming from the valve covers/manifold area of the engine, that sounds like an exhaust leak. I cannot isolate it to a point or locate anything wrong. I have checked all the vacuum lines. The EGR tube does have a crack at the manifold, this noise and location is different. Otherwise it runs fine. Any suggestions?
