While driving to get my son from his school, my heater control valve decided to snap, splashing and spilling radiator fluid everywhere. Part of the plastic where it snapped is still stuck in the hose. Looking at what I need to do, looks like an easy fix. The hose with the plastic piece still stick in it looks like it's still in good condition, but should I dig it our or just replace it? Also just want to make sure it really is an easy fix.
Just had to rant a bit too since it's been running great lately. Though the engine temp gauge went all the way up, the engine still seems fine (thankfully) I did not travel too far with it that hot.:exp:
Update: After 25 minutes or so, damn hoses wouldn't cooperate with me, got it fixed. Runs back at it's usual temp.
