Hello, 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, automatic transmission swap

I'm a new member, the mileage on my vehicle is 138K, I am experiencing a delay when I engage reverse so I found a low mileage transmission from the same year Ford Explorer (not Sport Trac), with an automatic transmission model 5R55WRWD and I would like to know if it's compatible with mine: 5R55ERWD.
Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated.

Welcome to this forum! The 5R55E is not the same as the later model 5R55W.
