Checking in. Have my '05 XLT for about a month now. Silver Birch with Graphite Cloth, Moonroof, Running Boards, Cross Rails, Convenience Group and 3rd Seat. Had the remote start installed. Great feature at 5:30 AM. Put on about 900 miles so far. Waiting for that 1st big snowstorm. Previously, had a '92 XLT (from 1997-2000). Been lurking for a while. Great site. Lots of info.

Thank you. I've been following your writeups on your roadtrips. Very impressive gas mileage. I've yet to take an all highway roadtrip. I'm averaging about 12 MPG. This is mostly local driving, with a few trips on the highway in between. It is the 4.0 6 cyl engine. Hoping to do a little better once it breaks in a bit.
