Hello everyone. I'm finally back online. As most of you know I left Ontario Sept 9th for Cold Lake Alberta. I arrived here Sept 16th. The Ex ran fantastic, no problems. It passed the 100,000 mile mark in northern Ontario. It also passed the safety here with nothing wrong, although the last few days the tranny is slipping (A4LD). I have an independant shop looking at it Wednesday. Here are some useless stats.

    Gas burnt 492.23 L or 130.033 G (us)
    Distance 3843.5 Km or 2388.24 M
Avg Speed 115 Kph or 71.4577 Mph
    Total gas $ 362.00 Can.
    Avg Price 73.9 cents/litre
    Cheapest 58.8 (Dryden Ont.)
    Dearest 80.5 (White River Ont.)

Ahh, it's good to be back! :D

It's a little cool Toad. 5degC is today's high. It's around -3 with a little snow happenin right now. I changed the oil and air filter on the Ex shortly after arriving here in a small snow flurry. It was so Christmassy, (Good grief!). Makes you want to open a bottle of your favorite refreshment and turn on Jingle Bells by The Singing Dogs.

I had the Alberta plates from my first tour here from '87-'93. When I found out they were sending me back, I had to dig through some boxes to find them.

That is cool that you were allowed to use the old plates....I guess you have two plates then, while most Albertans only have 1 (rear)plate nowadays huh....:)

First of all, I would like to say a be-lated thanks to everyone welcoming me back. As for the front plate Crankcase, I know I got one somewhere but at the time I could only find the rears off my old truck "BASHER", and my old Austin Healey "AH1006". Somewhere in amongst all my other garage packed crap there are two unused front plates. Oh well.
