Ditto, I paid $202 at Ford for the hub, and with locktite the bolt should never loosen. The torque is a lot, like 150 lbs.ft., about as tight as you can get it.

Hey guys. Just wanted let u know I got my hub all done today. It was actually a pretty easy job to do. I have no noise now either. I just greased the spindle before I put the hub back on and used lock tight on the bolts and everything was done. Thanks for all the help. I love this board...
Glad it worked out for you as well, Todd. It is ashamed I too bought a new hub and found out all it need was just small grease around the splines. I guessed something we all learned from our mistake. Anyone want to buy a good used "hub"??? lol
