HELP HELP HELP EXHAUST

Hi ! 1 quick question.. I need to change the pipe that goes from the catalyic converter to the muffler, that a piece of about 12 inche more or less.. from the converter no pro just cut the bolt and down it goes but the other end , the one that goes in the muffler that`a nother story ! any advice ? is this pieces weld it there or just pres tightin ? do I have to cut it ? heat it ?

limited 95 4x4 4 doors. I bought all the pieces that I need to do it.

cut it and just weld on a new piece

maybe use a U clip ?

why not just weld it on? muffler clips suck... they work for awhile, but have been the source of many exhuast leaks

it should defintely be welded. an exhaust shop wont charge you much if you can't do it yourself.
