2002 Mounty, V6, 55R5S tranny. 260K miles.
This tranny has the normal problems, flashing OD light, went to skipping 3rd gear, wouldn't go into OD, must assume that solenoid shaft fell into tranny, all that stuff.
But it still had 3 gears and I still got around town. Not no more it don't. Only 4th now and hung in it no matter where shifter is. External linkage is ok. Shaft moves normally extending into tranny.
I have been very sick, am recovering but no money right now. I can get this thing up to drop the pan and probably the valve body.
Question, will I find anything that might get it moving again including reverse?
Nothing else matters right now. If this can't be done, I can get my Subaru back otr easier, but have to transfer tag and insurance.
