I am totally unsure about what component speakers to buy I just bought an alpine head unit got the subs and amp i wanted and got another amp picked out for the component speakers and the two rear door speakers. i have thought about alpine, rockford, clarion, and infinity but just cant decide. please give me your opinions about which ones to buy, im looking for loud treble with little to no distortion when played high and good midrange, but dont want much to any bass from them. thanks Trevor

go with the alpine type S components. Metal dome tweet should give you the loud treble you are looking for. Distortion is decided by the amp you are using to feed them, make sure your gain settings are dialed in accordingly.
