'87 2.9 5 speed. thinking about a 4.0 swap. got the heavier dana 35 front axle. any other sugestions?

Welcome to the site.....I have been driving my 88 BII with a 93 OHV 4.0L for about 4-5 years now, this winter I am installing a 5.0L V8 drivetrain, but the 4.0L is perfect for your truck, best upgrade EVER.
If you do it right you can buy the entire donor vehicle and get yourself some seats, some interior pieces, a 8.8 rear axle, 4.0L, transmission, etc etc.....
