How do i make it stop? I know i could just unhunhook it, but I'd much rather just fix it. Sometimes it goes off if i hit a big bump too. Im guessing a loose connection somewhere? Any help is much appreciated.

It's gonna be in the steering wheel contacts.

Two screws from the back side to get the horn pad off. :)

If its not the contacts, the switch is basically just two sheets of copper in the steering wheel. I could see how that could start acting weird. The contacts are points that run in a circular groove. I wonder if maybe they are out of alignment, and jump the groove when you turn.

Another maybe is that the horn has been "aggressively" pushed, and the horn pad is bent a little causing it to be too close to the contacts. The fix for that is to take the horn pad off with the two screws from the back and bend it back into shape so that there is more clearance. Had that happen to me once in a Taurus that I had, and the horn would just randomly go off at inopportune times! Good luck with it!

If you take your horn button off and test it, you may find that it stays closed and the reason why you only get intermittent honking is because your contacts at the column are not the best either.
BTW- if you are honking intermittently for no reason, are you giving the 1 finger salute intermittently also?? :D
