Oh man, the news is spreading! We even have Jeepers over here because of it!

Thats how we can convert the masses! Tell the tale of Cap'n Hooty, and people will come from far and wide.

:bounce: Gerald, I told you it wouldnt be long until you were known world wide. Maybe Rick can have a sticker made for your rear window that simply reads "Hootus" Rick what do you think. I think that would be the right thing to do.

JEANNIE, go to your room right now!!!

You shouldn't be venturing over here out of your shell:D

How about soaking it in a bowl (or glass) of rubbing alcohol.... as long as you don't have any kind of "spots" or anything on it. (ouch!)

    Mikey!

You realize that this thread has only been up for 3 days and already has 109 posts.

    I did the math....
thats 70 hours and 21 minutes

thats a post every 38 minutes of the day for just about three days straight...

I'm thinking that Herculiner owes you some cash for all the free press...I also suggest you use that cash for some help

    Personalized Plates

:bounce:Hey Gerald, have you thought about some personalized license plates saying "Hootus." I'm sure everyone from this site would be willing to chip in to pay for it so we can see it for the next run!! Hell, even some of the Jeepers might be willing to chip in?!:D

BTW, have you gotten it off yet?

This is definitley the funniest thing I have aver heard! As far as Darwin awards goes, this beats the guy p!$$ing off a high-tension tower and electricuting himself via arching current throught the stream and frying his hootus! And Tom Wilk - how long did you spend writing that song!?!? BTW - It took about 5 minutes to type this - can't see straight! :D:D:D:D:D

Gerald, what have you done? With this publicity you created, my prediction for when we are gonna have the 3000 member on this board will be all wrong!! We have the Jeepers here now -- welcome guys -- but there are also Chevys, Dodges, Land Rovers etc. out there!!

How are you doing, btw? How was your river-adventure? I guess you did not needed a wetsuit for some body parts.

Do you guys have a jeep icon [IMG], j/k? :D I have to say I'm still laughing over this. Many of us jeepers, well not me, also have other vehicles as well. Oh be wary of us jeepers, we're chatty :D.

Great format on this BB too :).

    Oh, Gads

I get back and there's 120 posts and 3300 hits to this thread. I'm getting helpful emails and someone tells me they heard about it on Paul Harvey. I'm afraid to ask if he's joking or not

Rick, it seems I've inadvertantly provided more free advertising and exposure ( :D ) for this website than ever before.

I choose to graciously decline the offer to buy me personalized HOOTUS plates.

Tom Wilk has WAY too much time on his hands.

BTW, my therapeutic weekend sitz bath was very efficacious. I am in remission now :D
