Hey you'll get no arguments about the freebies at Free Shoe University, or about the convicts at the University of Miami. That's completely true.

But a t Florida... well, we don't need to cheat.

Only thing is that now that Steve is gone, what's the point? It just won't be the same without him. Then again, I left UF back in 1996. I'll never abondon them, but I'm not as fanatical either.

At the moment I'm a UTEP Miner. You know, El Paso. The Sun Bowl. But I'll always be a Gator, as that was my first true love. :p

    Re: Florida Gators.

Who said anything about a lesser school? :D

I know what you mean...everyone on my mom's side of the family sides with Alabama (the fact that they never went there doesn't seem to stop them...). Ugh, every year at Thanksgiving we get it bad (both my mom & dad graduated from Auburn).

Well, since there were hardly any west coasters in this poll I figured I had better chime in. I'll be a senior this fall at the University of Washington.

Its tough spending a whole summer in a college town when I'm not taking classes! There is nothing to do!
Up side.. Another freshmen orientation tonight. oh the joy standing around telling people the same thing over and over again. With all these people on the board that go to college i was wondering if any of you row for either a club team or varsity? I know i have raced against Auburn, Florida, Dartmouth, Miami, and probably some others mentioned.

I think I have you all beat:

    BA Psychology Rockhurst College, KCMO

BSBA Human Resources Mgmt, Rockhurst College, KCMO

JD Law, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS

As for those hard-to-open books, two words: Fire Starter

But what do I know - I came to the forum last night for first time wondering if it was time to change my shocks and tires: 80K+ on Cooper ASTs and 150K+ on OE shocks. My ride is "active," to say the least.

Seems like I lived my life ass-backwards. Undergrad was nothing but cracked books and drunkenness. Was a Kappa Nu TKE - our fraternity installed a commerical walk-in cooler in the basement of the house and took delivery of 20+ kegs each week directly from the local Busch distributor. Nothing like having a beer truck drop a load in a residential neighborhood. The College administration loved us - LOL.

I rowed eights and fours for KU varsity and club teams during my first and second years of law school - absolutely suicidal. Since I was the 8 and 4 seat, I got to select the cox for each. Life was good in '86 and '87. I only caught one crab when I shifted ever so slightly to determine if what I saw was a pube or a figment of my imagination. The coxs were absolutely beautiful but wicked babes. [I was the victim of an intentional pube exposure].

    Thanks for the memory.

Actually I think a good friend of mine has got you beat:

    BA in Finance,
    BA in Business Management,
    BA in Finance,
    minor in French,
    minor in German,
    Masters in Business Administration,
Now currently in the Army commanding a platoon of tanks,
Working on a JD Law care of the Army,
    Then off to the CIA.

He's a bit psychotic. We were all wondering if he was ever going to get out of school. Not any time soon it seems.
