hello i am from wisconsin.. i had a little problem with my explorer it started on fire. it not do too much damage but it did some it burnt up two spark plugs. easy enough to change. but it also melted the top of the vacumm that goes to the transmission not sure how to fix. it also melted off some vacuum lines that the previes owner plugged up with bolts:(. there are also some bare wires i was wondering if i could use electric tape to tape up. i paid 18oo for the truck 2 years ago and i just replaced the rear brakes all the brake lines. new front tires with less then 100 miles on them. and some new bushings on the front end that the guy i bought it from had it held together with visegrips. i need help is it worth fixing 220,000 miles on it.... thanks

Welcome to this forum! Replace the vacuum lines, and cover the wires with electrical tape, and split loom tubing.

Plastic conduit with a split in the middle for tucking the wires into.
