nope I was sleeping at 5AM Thank you!

However sense...I had to work today:( I stopped at Home Depot on the way in and scored a 4 piece 18v Ryobi set (small circular saw, drill, flashlight, dustbuster) for $59.97 and got a free add on tool, which was a Impact gun:thumbsup:

I was up at 3AM to go to officedepot to try and get an HP laptop for $350 but I was 8th in line and they only had 6 but I ended up getting an acer desktop for $220 with a free printer, it definatley sucked standing out side because they didn't open till 6, there were people who camped out from Thursday night at 8pm.

it was a special holiday thing, but the next kit up was minus the vac and added a swazall + another batt. for 159.99 Even though the batt is $35 and sawzall is about $50. No bag or case:dunno:

I really got it for half trail and half home use. I plan to set a tool case so I can have the (sawzall, grinder when I get them) flashlight, drill, impact and a spare batt. with me for wheeling trips. The baby circular saw is nice and convient, sence I don't own a circular saw. It's really the winner of the package:thumbsup:

Woke up at nine, went to sears, no crowd, and they still had all the "doorbuster" sale items I wanted in stock, except for one. The digital tire gauge for $12.99.

In other words, I didn't need to be there at the crack of dawn to get what I wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This "black friday" BS has gotten way out of control and needs to be stopped. Most stores, including Sears has rain checks. And even though the tire gauge I wanted was sold out, I already paid for it at the sales price and pick it up friday, way ahead of Xmas.

    STUPID F-ING PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, hearing that news pissed me the f--- off.
That is uncalled for. F'ing a-holes. That is why if I went, I would be packing heat. I get trampled, some a-holes are going to die! But seriously. I blame Wal-Mart for that one. They know good and damn well what kind of crowds show up, they need to hire security for crowd control. But like all big companies all they care about is money. :thumbdwn:

I didn't go early at all, but rolled into sears at ~10 while waiting on the wife to finish her shopping.

I wondered around the store for a bit and found a heckuva deal-

$79 or $89 socket sets for $44.99 each  I couldn't leave them behind, I got both sets. That and the hex or allen 3/8" drive set that they advertised for $14.99. I walked out the door for $115 :D

Not much of a crowd, I had plenty of time to mull my purchase, they had lots of gear wrenches and the other advertised items, some dandy deals on cordless drills. Not worth getting up at 5 AM for certain.

I just came back from Lowes. They mailed me a $10 off any $25 purchase coupon card. When I got there, I discovered a few other deals. If you purchase a $100 gift card, and mail in the rebate slip, they will (hopefully) mail a $20 gift card. I've never had any luck with rebates, so lets see if this one is legitimate. On the receipt, it says that you could get $10 off your next $50 purchase. With all of these good deals still going on, why would anybody get up so early to wait on line?

I ended up getting too vashnigyered and passed out at 3. Some shepherds for the lord rang the doorbell and woke me up a 9 am so I went to the store then.

Dick's was out of .223 but had six boxes of 7.62x39 left. Yes, I keep two mags loaded.
