Is there a "best" slave cylinder to get?

    I'm going to order a new clutch and everything, and after searching and reading on this and other forums, the question is, what slave? I saw mention of some slaves being better than others, but no details on what or why.

    On the clutch site, I see two different part numbers for a 4.0 Ranger, one for up to 92, one for 93-2000.

    So is there just an 'early' and 'late' slave, or is there a 'best' brand out there?
