I would like to join the Elite Explorers again but I do not want to use pay pal, I rather use my credit card. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thank you.

Sorry, I do not have any way of taking credit cards outside of PayPal.

You can send a check or money order though. If you would like to do that I'll give you my address.

Just an FYI, you do not have to add money to PayPal, or have a PayPal balance to use the service. You can pay direct with a card, if that happens to be your issue.

I just tried again, it directs me to paypal to setup a account. My apologies, I just don't think I will setup an account. I was a elite member a couple of years ago and was able to use my credit card. Thank you Rick, I may take you up on that offer sir

Ohhhh. For some silly reason I was thinking you had a paypal and didn’t want to add funds. Yeah, you’d have to have one. You used to be able to request money from the sellers end via email. Then PayPal would send you a link to ‘check out’, and you could provide your credit card info on the secure website, but it’s been ages since I did that.

In any case, thanks for wanting to be elite, and support the site. It’s appreciated.

I am having issues with the Elite membership. I have tried several times to join and I get the following message from PayPal when I click the pay button:

"If you were making a purchase or sending money, we recommend that you check both your PayPal account and your email for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.

If you came to this page from another website, please return to that site (don't use your browser's Back button) and restart your activity.

If you came from PayPal's website, click the PayPal logo in the upper-left corner to return to our home page and restart your activity. You might have to log in again."

I cant seem to find any "admin" links on this site as well. Can someone help out?

I’ve noticed PayPal has been a little hiccupy as of late. I think they are trying to add new security features and it’s causing some bugs.

      @Rick is the site admin.

I have a paypal account. It was hacked in March. I still have an account but I have not activated the new card paypal sent. I tried the filling the form under the paypal sign up but no joy. You know E-bay tried to just use paypal a few years ago but that did not work out either. How bout I just drop a $20 in a envelope and I take your word you got it or not. If not I will send another one.

I’d think a money order would be safest for everyone......

Relax Brooks. Take a little chance, live a little. It's only $20.00. Give the man a chance to be honest.

I wasn’t worried about “the man” being honest. And, for the record, I take far too many chances, and live a little too much.

I give Mbrooks420. I was just poking a little fun at being too correct at a small transaction in life. Worrying a little too much about the details. Can't see the forest for the trees sort of thing. Please forgive me.

That part about you taking chances, anytime you get in a 20 year old Ford 4x4 and head into the woods farther than you want to walk back. I'd say that qualifies.

Lol. I drive my 20 year old Ford product 8 hours away, regularly, and never really have a concern. I don’t even carry a spare tire. If everything in my life was as rock solid as my Mountaineer, I’d be in pretty good shape.

I think your letter took the slow boat from China. Just received it today, and your account is now all set.

Thanks for helping to support the forum:chug:

      LOL

Our PO is actually a lot better than it was when we first moved out here. These days 10 days for 1st class mail is a fluke, it used to be the norm:eek:
