- '98 XLT Explorer 5.0l
Hello everyone. I just bought a '98 XLT Explorer 5.0l from my wife's boss. 149K in millage. It was not running when I got it, so I towed it home. After changing the fuel pump, it runs great. Doing a collant flush, oil, and trans change this week. Needs an alignment though. Front inside tires are shot. Check ball joints, but seem to be tight. Will post pics soon. Are you ready for the price........are you sitting down...........$650.00. Thats All.
This site has helped alot in some areas of question. I had a '94 Explorer Limited a while back, but could not get rid of the steering shutter when driving down the road. We sold that truck and have always wanted another one. well, I got it, and with a V8!!!! I wish I had found this site when I had the other one.
