KC: DayLiters or 57 series

Would you all recommend the KC Highliters or the 57 series for a long range light? I am looking at the 100w versions of either, and they are pretty similarly priced, so I am wondering if the round or rectangular lights have any particular advantages over the other (beam pattern, light throw length, etc.)

Round lights are the best for range, everything else is a compromise.

I think circular lights, along with being brighter, also look better with the Explorer bodies. Rectangular lights just dont look as clean as circular lights do.

I would go with the KC's simply for there warranty. I recently had a bulb fail. I simply mailed it back and they sent me a new one. At the same time, I read on there website that they will also replace covers that are sun faded, so I sent those too and got brand new ones.
