Late model wheels on 3rd gen

I pretty sure bolt pattern is the same on like a 14 or newer explore or edge but heard there could be hub difference. Any one ever tried or no for sure? Thanks in advance.

The edge works up to 2011 or maybe it’s 2010? The bolt pattern isn’t the issue, it’s the hub center bore.

If you search “2011 Explorer bolt pattern” etc., most websites will give you the hub bore as well.

Our wheels are hub-centric, so it’s important to have the right center bore (beyond just actually fitting over the hub.)

You could take a 5th gen Explorer wheel to someone that could turn the wheel on a lathe or something to get the correct center bore. Call a local wheel repair place, see what they say.
