i had the work done at 4x4 shop called xtreme offroad in my hometown of harlingen tx which is a 5 hour drive south. if you want some more info i got his name and number some where around here.
p.s. maybe we should get together if you wanted to check it out in person. seeing how we both live in south austin.

    Positive Vibes
problably not for a while since i just had my transmission rebuilt. but eventually i plan on taking it to some trails.

Dude, kill the body lift ASAP. Way too tall. I hate mine and can't wait to get rid of it.

the pics don't do it justice... i was driving through austin a while back picking up something for work and saw some big ass truck coming towards me. i was like damn that almost looks like an explorer. and wouldn't u know... it was. its HUGE, i'd go wider with it since its so tall. but neways it dwarfs my lil 35's and it looks damn good.

game on if u buying :D

where abouts did u see my dumb a## driving. u should of flagged me down or something. yeah the 38's are nice. i was even thinking about stepping up to 39's but after my transmission went out the first time its not looking like a good idea. I will just have to wait till these badboys go bald and make my desicion then. This truck is still sort of my daily driver so i want to keep it running good without worrying about the trans to much.
Also i would like to congradulate u on completeing your own sas.
i hope u like the way it came out.
oh yeah where did u ge that front bumper on your ex?
    looks nice.

thanks, i love mine, very happy with it. maybe when u get new tires u should go with 37" ssr's or 36x14.50 and lose the body lift or something or not. i think either of those would look good. when i saw you it was somewheres like anderson lane or something in that area. don't remember exactly. and i honestly thought about flagging u down. but by then it was too late. cuz even though it looked like a lifted explorer i figured nah, it can't be. cuz its only the second lifted ex i've seen in my whole life that i've seen in person other than mine. i jus don't expect it. but i knew as soon as u drove by that it was you. cuz i was in my sas research stage then. and i can't go a day without checking the site neways. as for the front bumper that is compliments of my dad. a matching rear one will be coming one day. have the metal bent and ready to do. but my dads really busy with his own project now so it won't be any time soon.

    Dont got one yet
I agree. But, even with the height your truck is now, it looks like the tire will hit the bottom corner of the bumper. IMHO you should lower it and do some trimming.

Hey Fury... Where'd you get the boot for your t-case shifter? I'm having a hard time finding one that doesn't look dumb.

    Great Ex!!!!

However, I have to agree with some of the others here. Lose the body lift and just do some minimal trimming. Good Luck!!!

and just to let everybody know i do plan on getting rid of the body lift just as soon as the tires i have right know wear out a little more. then i am planning on getting some 36 14.50 on 15x12 rims next. just havent decided what kind of tires i should get.

    any suggestions?

37" mtr's if more pavement useage, swampers if dirt.

Discount tire has the 37" mtr for $208 at the stores. Best price I could find awhile back.
