So as some of you might have read I've lowered my 2nd Gen 2 inches using lowering blocks in rear and TT in front. What is the best option for the front bump stops as I seem to be right about sitting on them?

Also what Bilstein Shocks has everyone been using on their lowered Explorers? I currently have rear load leveling and debating to get rid of it all together or replace the rear shocks with NOS OEM and Bilstein Fronts and rear 3rd shock

Thanks in advance

Had the same issue with my 2.75" front drop. Easy solution was removing and cutting the stock bumps with a hack saw and dish soap. I chose to modify the much softer stock rubber.

Other option is enlarging the holes to 3/8" and using low profile polyurethane bump stops from ES, Prothane, or Daystar.

Yet to find Bilstein's for lowered Explorer's. I'm still using soft Monroe SensaTrac's (OE Spectrum) but am considering the much firmer Doetsch Tech Nitro Slammers designed and valved for lowered trucks.

For retaining the correct rear sway bar angle, here's what I did using shorter end links.
