I just read an eBay auction that states that the OEM MAF for a 1998 v6 is 70mm. Can i make this work in my '96 ohv? What size is the MAS on the '96 OHV v6?

I'm guessing "NO" b/c it likely would be the advice of the forum b4 you go payin' $3-400 for an aftermarket unit, and i haven't heard of anyone doing this (easily). I figured i'd ask...

Is it a fitment problem or a "unrecognizable" computer issue?

      Thanks

Not too concerned about the hp gain, b/c i know it is negligible and should be done after other mods, but the Q was: can one from a 98' be put onto a '96, assuming they're both OHV?
