My antenna mount...

    Well after trying to do a mount that works off the rear light, I learned it works but make the antenna to high. (Dam Parking Garages) So I came up with this. Work perrfect. It will not get 20 miles or anything, but how offen are that far away from another truck? :rolleyes:

    Do you not get alot of static fromt he fuel pump in that location?

    I mounted mine at the same height, but on the driver's side. I made a bracket out of 2" x 1/4" steel and wrapped it under the bumper and bolted it to pre-existing holes. Never had any fuel pump static with that mount or with my old tail light mount.

    No my antenna is on the roof so I've got great reception and still no noise problems :)

    Hey Jay, i think i've narrowed down my old mount to being in my gray tool box in charlottesville, va... lol
