    Cool! Thanks you guys! :D

I already started it, and have the front & the sides cut out, but I made a twist to mine....the sides are hinged so they can swing outward to work behind if needed. About to cut out the holes in the face for everything now.

Great idea about the connectors. I have a few trailer harness' that I can use for everything.

All done, minus the armchair caddy going on the passenger side that I still have to purchase.

Thank you sir. Just wanted to see if it made the grade or not. :)

I used a particle board with a nice slick laminate surface. Made applying the felt easy and smooth. Used 3M spray adhesive, and a power shot staple gun on the back side. It made wrapping the edges a cinch!

the only thing i dont dig about it are the hinges. maybe there's some way you can put on little snap on brackets on the underside of the door and then you will be able to just pop it on and off.

I had those hinges already, and they work fine to hold the side panel tight. I will be looking for others in black, and swap them out. I know there not the most appealing to look at, but for a poor mans build using only things I had already, I like it :)

Unless you fix it to the dash, or the floor, it will move or possibly fall on you with just snaps. The dr side is attached firmly to the face with 90* brackets on the inside. The hinges are the self closing type with spring tension on them, so it keeps it all together when closed.

Nice. I wish I had the short console. A lot more options.
