Ok, here's the deal. My wife wanted our christmas lights blue and white this year. Every other bulb is blue, clear, blue, clear yougettheidea. Normally im not picky on stuff like this, but i think it looks like crap. To me, it doesnt look like christmas, it looks like something you would see on an old Airstream camper up at the lake. She loves it.

Waddaya think? I know its a crappy pic, but just use your imagination. :)

The outcome of this poll may reflect on what we use next year.

I guess Im kinda' old fashioned too. I like colors, or all white. Nothing about me, my life or home is ...ummm...fancy. Kinda like Charlie Browns Christmas, where Lucy tells him to get a "big shiney aluminum tree"....

      James,

The blue lights just don't work in my opinion. Colored lights or all white are good, but for outdoor displays I prefer icicle lights. I just bought a 3 foot tree for the table in my bedroom and it is going to be decorated the way I always wanted, white lights, blue garland, and silver decorations. I guess we all have our likes and dislikes

Blue is a Xmas color when mixed with other xmas colors, not just by itself. I can't really tell by the pic.

My Ex decorated her house in all blue (I know this because I have to pass her house to go to my sisters) and it look like T total shit. I mean awful. All she has is blue lights. I was still with her when she bought them and I asked "Why?" about 20 times while standing in the checkout line.

I voted for the El Camino option.

      I want a '67 w/ a 396 (or 572 crate)

Plus, blue is too close to purple and purple is too close to gay.

We have the blue icicle lights on the eves of our house. Typically, the blue is supposed to mean "Jewish". We work for a Jewish Carpenter's Son, so I guess it works... and we like to be different - calmer - more peaceful... (sleeping yet?) :D

3 out of 20 like it so far. Thanks for the votes guys.... keep 'em coming. :D

Doug- i know im trailer trash, but im high-class east Texas/southwest Arkansas trailer trash. We have standards. :p Like---

1- car on blocks must be in the BACK yard

2- no secks with anything closer than a 3rd cousin

3- meth lab must be properly ventilated and have adequate fire extinguisher

4- working TV on top of non-working TV must have a larger screen than the original broken one

5- all family arguments (screaming, hitting, yelling, shooting) must be done indoors

6- Tshirts with sleeves cut out can only be worn in the summer months

7- pickup truck can no longer have rubber boots hanging in between bed and cab... all footwear must be secured in the diamond plate dogbox in bed

8- steeltoe Wolverine's are no longer in chic for weddings/funerals

etc, etc, etc..... dont want to bore you with the details. Suffice it to say that the wonderful chainstore "Tractor Supply" has brought us all into the 20th century.

I was thinking along the lines of being too Jewish also. That or Greek.

I live by the motto "Any color lights are better than NO lights"

The people directly across the street from me NEVER put up lights, ONLY house within 20 houses that don't. Drives me nuts.

Personally, white sucks- everybody has white lights on a house the other 11 months of the year.....I would say all colors together is the best.
