Who do you think will be at the top of the heap in the Nextel Cup series for 2005?

My man Jimmie Johnson hopefully. He's came in 2nd the past two years in the chase for the cup and I've heard rumors that the 2005 season will be his last. He was on fire this year and hopefully it will roll over into Daytona.

I know Earnhardt Jr. is overhyped, but he is also pretty good. I look for next year to be his year, he was pretty consistent all season this time, but had a little bad luck in the chase. I'd like to see Harvick do good, but he has disappointed me for the last few years, so I doubt he will do much better.

I know this sounds crazy, but I think Kasey Kahne will win it all in 05. The kid was really stout this year, and it wouldn't surprise me if he wins it all next year.

I see a resurgence of Dale Jarret with another Ford Man, Mark Martin right up there.

    EXCELLENT!!!!!
I'm a huge DJ fan, he needs to get out there and show those young bucks how to drive  :D . Same goes for Mark, those young guys can run fast, but they don't have half the neccesary experience it takes to be one of the NASCAR elite.

Being a lifelong Rusty Wallace fan, and this being his last year, i hope he has a resurgence, but i don't see that happening- sometimes you gotta admit when your man has fallen off his game :(

I see Newman having his year this season.
