Hey guys Im not sure where to post this at here so im gonna put it in this forum since its audio related. I am trying to purchase this remote :http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/stock01/kcarc700.asp from over seas to be shipped here to the united states but I cant figure out where to go to get my currency converted. I have went to all the banks and everything locally to get my currency converted but nobody does this. Is there some place online I can go to help purchase this item? thanks for your time and help !

At last someone with the reverse problem that I have. Normally you can just enter your card details and the banks do the rest. They will debit your card at the rate of exchange at the time the order is processed. That site is good I have used them before. When I got my DVD unit they hand delivered it. :D

Yea what Howard said. Just give your credit card to them and the credit card company will use thier exchange rate and calculate the balance.

Couldn't you just guesstemate and wait till you get your visa summary? The exchange rate changes daily so you will never know exactly how much till you get your bill. Also the rate the credit card uses vs. banks vs. airports all differentiates from location to location.

I know from experience. We used to call it "creative expense report writing". We would change a $100 at the airport (SFO) which has the worst exchange rate (never exchange in an airport unless you have to) and then we would use that figure for or expense reports even thou the exchange rate we were getting in the country was better.

Bottom line just guess and wait till you get the bill from your credit card.
