Look at the lines the website gives you that say 760-x-x-x-xx and copy those values to your ABS (ABD). 760 should be the module id for the ABS

    Viel Glück

I thought your on here because you owned an Explorer and you wanted to share information about the Ford Explorer?

Until the licensing issue is figured out (to me that is the hardest part), I doubt any burn will be felt.

I don't know of anyone that uses the first one you posted.

The one from Amazon (BAFX) is the one I use. I just added a double pole double throw switch (which you can buy online or at a radioshack, if there is one left in your area)

    http://www.amazon.com/uxcell%C2%AE-Position-6Pins-Toggle-Switch/dp/B015DLW0EE/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1463840469&sr=8-6&keywords=dpdt+switch+mini

I've heard that the Obdlink MX bluetooth does support MS-CAN as well.

If you are looking for cheap and don't mind doing some soldering go with the BAFX and get a DPDT switch.

If you want to pay a little more and don't have to do anything extra go with the OBDlink MX.

    Forscan article on adding switch:

Thanks. I ordered the obdlink MX

partly because I didn't want to solder but mainly because it appears there is all sorts of nifty software/apps for it.
Anyone using this module, and any of the software/apps?
    http://www.obdlink.com/mxbt/

What types of parameters are we comfortable changing (I have a 2013 XSport) with the forscan software?
    DRL
Transmission learning delete I saw in another thread
    Global open/close seems to be a no-go
    What else....

I am using FORSCAN and would like to reset my transmission learn on 2013 XSport. Anyone know where in FORSCAN to perform this reset?

If you click on the Combination Wrench on the left hand side it goes to service procedures. Look for "PCM Reset All Adaptations". If its even available for the Explorer.

It may list something else but the service procedure section (wrench) will display all available.

Note this will reset other adaptations like long term fuel trim, not just transmission shifting.

Done! Thank you! That's mainly what I bought this for. That and the lowbeam DRL was successful too.

I did somehow lose some info in my Trip 1 and 2 display, messing around with some forscan changes. It used to show from top to bottom: total miles, mpg, tank capacity, and time....now it only displays total miles and time. Who knows

Because when you reset the parameters, the cluster also reset some settings to default. Check the right screen settings there should be a setting for enhanced trip display. This will bring the more detailed trip information.

People in Russia already activating navigation using modified ELM327, Forscan with extended licence and an xls file to generate link for navigation licence download from ford database. Works perfectly. F150 users can add climate soft buttons to MFT screen as well. Rear view camera can be enabled as well. Good job Forscan!

Forgot to mention that to do this your MFT must be upgraded to the latest 3.8 version!
