The topic of a New Tshirt / Banner Idea came up on the EF Facebook page and We were told to discuss it on the Forum more so everyone can be included.

I was thinking of trying to incorporate all of the generations and came up with a good idea. Here are my design Ideas, and would like to see some input.

The first design is the more primitive idea and the 2nd one is getting more finalized. Anyways lets discuss the idea.

    Chris those look real good.

I would like to make a suggestion. Feel free to throw it out the door since we are in the brainstorming stage here.

How about a more uniform "club Logo" without all the cars in it? We all know what we drive.

Something to use the EF abbreviation, or something describing "Serious Explorations"

    Kinda like these examples--

Just a suggestion. Most people who buy the shirts will already know which vehicles are represented here. The range of body styles and models is getting too large for individual representation all on one shirt.

IMO the logo should depict what the forum does for people graphically if at all possible.

    :D

    Also some brainstorming.

A compass with Serious Explorations going around the outside the bezel ring?

i like the 1st one a bunch, has all the generations, and with the checkers around it, it looks like it would be a good t shirt

Like this idea, or if not the compass, maybe a globe? Kind of like what Rick used to have on the rear hatch of the Pumpkin (before it became the Pumpkin). . .

If you do stick with the multiple vehicle design, request you at least throw one 2-door in the mix. . . Sure, maybe slightly biased. . .

I like the simplicity of the first one... You'll never be able to drive the 5th gen out of those kind of rocks... I would think about that every time I see it.

A club logo sounds good too.

A Sport Trac of each gen, and a Navajo, and a Mountaineer of each gen, and some Sports to go along with the 4 door Explorers.... Hey, let's get Bronco IIs and Aerostars in there too. Wait, a lot of Ranger guys use this forum too. Get that mid-model change in for the second gen in too.

Yeah, that TOTALLY wouldn't get WAY too busy in a hurry.

Here's an idea of what the finished product would look like

He is just trying to show off the evolution of the Explorer without getting too complicated. The more that you put in the image, the worse it would work out.

How about an illustration, say, maybe something like a road going around a mountain corner-something glowing very brightly around the bend but you cannot see what it is. Serious explorations over the top, explorerforum.com along the bottom.

Trees and a campfire-with a broken cv axle on the ground. Heck, just throwing stuff out there-

I think this should be a contest like we did with the banner for the forum. I am going to start another thread, hopefully we'll get more designs to chose from.
