This is the official ET/MPH list. PM me any relevant info on your run, aka time slips and videos. Also list your mods, try and follow the format you see below. If you dont have the time to follow the format, ill organize your info, but any help is appreciated.

Suggestions are welcomed. We will use only vehicles relevant to this forum. I only used 1/8th on my personal run because I have not hit the 1/4 yet, but send what you have.

I think it'll be a while before rocket makes any moves in this list, it'll be pretty hard with his explorer halfway across the country. I would love to see it happen though.
 






I PM'd rocket about two weeks ago and he said that we are looking at maybe a year before he finishes or even makes a pass. So it will be a while before we hear from him.

I want to make a pass soon, but with the temps getting higher, I don't think it will be worth it. So until I get knocked off the 2nd place spot, I am going to set back and do some minor work to the Ex. Maybe sneak some speed parts on and get ready for that number one spot:D
 






Yeah that's why I said in my earlier post, i plan on "borrowing" 1st place for a little while (while having Robert in mind). ;)
 






I feel we should update the page with Trolls time of an 11.65 for first place. Heck, that guy ran that time years ago and his threads are in this forum. I'm not sure what he's doing now but that was a great accomplishment and dedication to the explorer community. In my book, none is first until they run faster than that.
 






I was thinking the other day of who was the guy that ran the fastest quarter mile time???? And then you posted it:D I think you can read my mind?

I REALLY doubt that anyone on here is going to be running an 11.65 anytime soon. Mid-12's or so is doable, but to drop another second will take some work. If anyone cares to prove me wrong, then I want to see it:)
 






I was looking through some of Trolls old posts and there was another member stating that he wished he could find one of Trolls vids of when he ran and 11.37!!!

Who knows someones cousin whos sisters bestfriend knows someones aunt who knows a nephews good friend that is friends with Trolls brother? We need to get him back on here and see what the deal is.:D
 






Yeah Troll inspired me to go all out. I bought my SC, started searching and ran into some of his vids. At that moment I knew X's were worthy.

I think he did the 11.65 run with 498whp, or maybe 478whp.

Dig up some info on his setup and times and ill throw him up!
 






I never saw any of those threads or videos, he was gone before I joined. Those HP numbers give us hope though, I can see those coming not too far off for several people here.
 






If you search really hard you'll find it. I searched for like a month and finally found the video. I had it saved along with Rocket4979 and Jah81592 but the hard drive crashed. His brother made a post in here a few weeks back BLK something-or-other is his username and I see him posting on the ranger forum at times. Look @ mounty 03’s thread for the username I described and that’s Trolls brother. There is a thread where he was re-doing the truck with a big turbo but I’m not sure what Happened? Heck, I was a newbie back then and was talking smack trying to get him motivated (Sort of like limited02 does now heheheheh)

Guys, I’ve passed the 10K mark on my truck. I went to purchase some toyo proxy tires with paypal and had to upgrade my account. Anyone know what I’m talking about? ;) I feel like I have a problem and need help. Do they have some sort of support group where I can stand up and say, “hello, my name is Jake and I have a problem spending money on my exploder”. 10K and I’m only in the 13’s….Damn, I have to get to the 12’s soon. After that, I’ll feel obligated to get to the 11’s. It never ends. When I pass, I should request they cremate and add me to a Methanol Injection tank so I can pass thru a motor?

Your just passing 10k? wow, I've already gone past that one. I don't really know how far though I stopped keeping track it's to scary to look at.

I'm 10K using paypal but I've made multiple purchases other ways. ;) I too don't want to know the total.
 






I am at around $1500 with the wheels/tires, tuner, and exhaust. EF was free because I go it from my dad.:) So I need to spend some more money huh? I also have an M90 supercharger and intercooler off a 92' thunderbird that I could have fun with.(it's free too:)) I almost have my truck sold and if all goes well, I may be able to pay off the explorer and start saving money!!!
 






Those HP numbers give us hope though, I can see those coming not too far off for several people here.

That's right Don. I'm not very worried about surpassing those numbers, im more worried about Robert. His setup should be capable of about 600whp.
 






... and more if he steps on it. I'm looking to push the parts, but not break them. The wise safety limits are in there too, how far over the line do we want to go?
 






Any of the NA guys think of doing a cam swap to peak ahead of the others? The stock explorer one is pretty, well wickedly, mild from what I have found. The explorer has the better intake and heads of the GT40P, than even the mustangs. But Ford partly killed it from not letting it breath, from the Cam & Exhaust manifolds. (speaking of the 5.0 trucks) Anyways just an idea,

A cam swap may happen for me, but I want to finish the conversion to 2wd first. And if I'm going to tear into the motor that far then I feel like I might as well go all the way and build up the rest of the motor as well.
 






True I have the same mindset when going that far in the motor. What do you have left on your 2wd conversion? You changing front wheel bearings or just trying to bolt them together like the CV normal would do?

I still need a 2wd transmission and drive shaft. Also still need 2wd spindles and rotors and I think that should be all of it. Currently I have stubs from cv axles in my spindles, and the front diff removed so I still have a ways to go. But it is technically 2wd at the moment.
