      Do Performance chips really work?

Are they worth their price tags?

      Any for the new generation's?

Do they void the vehicle warranty?

Yes they do work but depemds on the application. Dont waste your money unless you get the 3.5 ecoboost. Ford can void your warranty on your powertrain if the tuner caused the issue.

The best saying is "you gotta pay to play". Be willing to foot a major repair bill.. ive had tuners on my diesel trucks for 7 years.. never a repair denied but have had service denied by 1 dealer who knew I was tuned.

Here is a bit of info to think about. If a dealer gets a warranty claim charged back from Ford, the dealer pays 10x the repair. Many dealers are not as aftermarket friendly for good reason.

I knew there was thread about this and it took a second to find. I ran across this today and I have not checked at the SCT site but I know most of us have the 3.5.

It is an SCT tuner and has three tunes and claim they can cut a custom tune. Next stop JLT cold air for an intake. I am in afganistan so I wont be able to do the R+D on this one for a bit its just info for you guys.

Anyone have any experience with these tunes on the 3.5? Curious if there are any gains (seat of pants)
