Ok, not exactly one of his that he carved, but it is a mug that is copied from one of Bill's actual tikis :D

Original on the right, ceramic mug on the left.

This morning I took a photo of a tiki that I had bought from Bill close to 20 years ago. The cactus has been growing like crazy. It is all part of one plant that started as just one arm. and I like the way it's growing around the tiki.

That got me thinking about the post I saw on Bill's Facebook page about one of his tiki's being made into a ceramic mug. I went back to his page today to get contact info for the ceramic artist. I contacted her and told her I wanted one, but she said she was just about sold out because she was at a tiki lifestyle show in Arizona and they were selling fast.

Well... I just happened to be going to my parents house today which is only 8 miles from the hotel where the tiki show was. It seemed like we were destined to have that tiki in our hands today :D

I’m actually surprised you got one, since she only made 30 of them! I’m thinking there needs to be another run produced!

Okay so I have two tiki's carved by Bill back in the day, I have been hauling them around with me since I lived in CA for a short time and went wheeling with the So Cal guys. The whole time we lived in Colorado they were like so out of place, sitting there in the snow at 9000' in the back yard with the chickens....now we live in North Idaho which is cold 5 months of the year, but during spring and summer it is like a rain forest around here since we live on a River. We even have a gazeebo outside with a huge fire pit. the RangerX tiki's have found their permanent home.
Until I saw this thread I had no idea you ever did anything with these? I love them! I am glad to have a pair of these things hanging out, I will get some pics.
Let me know if there is a way I can get a mug!!!
Bill do you sell these things? Make them professionally?
    (Sorry I don't have facebook!)

My tiki from Bill years and years ago is sitting on my pool deck:thumbsup:

If I could figure out a way to get them to the states cheap, I'd sell them on my website for work.
