    hey, i have a 04 explorer flexfuel and i was wondering what plug u recomend.

    I don't know the exact part number for your model but I would stick with the Motorcraft brand.

    Also I forgot to mention. If you don't go with Motorcraft that's fine there are plenty of other good brands out there. Just steer clear from Bosch.

    how long do the stock plugs last and do i need special plugs for e 85?

    The stock iridium plugs can go 100K miles. I probably would not leave plugs in that long though for fear of them seizing in the head. No you don't need special plugs for E-85.
