What kind of suspension system does it have? I see the rear wheels have some flex in the 3rd picture.

I didn't read all 33 pages of that link, but from what I've read so far, it looks like he put a lot of work into it. He has leaf springs too.

Modified Yard Truck

This was a customers Aerostar that his young son "borrowed" and ultimately wrecked. Could not find parts ANYWHERE in this area of Virginia at a price he wanted to put into this truck. Needed rt door,left rear glass and some exaust work and a rt frt turn signal assembly.I kept the vehicle to pay for my time and took the torch to it, with this as the results. Runs like a clock and I have gotten much use out of it around the property and junkyard. Still roadworthy and I may put it on the road this Summer just as a conversation piece! Actually it's not that bad! It could be converted into a Ranger body style with a little more work.

Well, even though I'm not into vans, I still think the Aerostar is the best Minivan ever made so I'm amazed at what some people do, I haven't seen this one posted here. It was at the All-Truck-Nationals in Carlisle this year. It has a v8, since I couldn't stand above it I'm not sure which V8 it had, the front diff looked like a rear diff modified to steer. Awesome Aerostar.

Do you have a dual outlet muffler or does it have a dual exhaust? Was the picture painted on or is it a decal? I see that the taillights, parking lights, and windows have tint. It's impossible to keep a vehicle in that kind of condition where I live.

Sorry, I can't tell you much about it. I've been watching Craig's List for Aerostars - this one was just listed again over the weekend (I think he's had it on there before). I was just looking over the forum here and noticed the topic to post pictures - I thought this one deserved a listing there because it looks so good. The ads been removed now but I managed to save the pictures.
