Ok, well Firestone employees got a special invitation to goto Toys R Us today from 7-9am and buy stuff without crowds and to get special pricing too.
So we went and were one for two people that showed up, go figure.
They fed us and gave us Starbuck's coffee, it was great!

Anyhoo I found this neat little critter and paid $4.99, $5.04 with tax and broght it home.

I'll give you an update and some more pics as soon as I do some product testing/playing.

Reminds me of "Stompers" when I was growing up!

      :p

      3 definate down falls:

      A) very little "breakover"

      B) more than a 45deg. angle and it flips

      C) even though it already wieghs quite a bit it needs a little more to over power the stiff springs it has for better articulation.

More wieght mabey and bigger wheels and tires would be great, gears would be cool after a wheel and tire change, but it makes pretty decent power now.

It has 3 settings, 2wd high gear, netural (free wheeling), and 4wd low gear.

I have the Wal-mart version. There was a big thread on pirate a while back. These things suck though. They need wheelie-bars and bigger tires. :D

I'm in the process of making some hubcap spinners for it.

WOW! Section that thing looks huge, and I have seen those before.

This little thing is small enough to fit in tha palm of your hand and wiehgs about a pound and a half, but like yours it needs bigger wheels and tires too.
