Hi,
The display in the radio of my 1998 Explorer just went out. I see all the threads about this and figured it would finally happen.
A friend of my gave the radio out of his 2005 Sport Trac and I was wondering does it fit the 1998 and is the wiring the same.
I have the radio with cd/tape and external 6 disc cd changer. The 2005 model is
Stock Double-DIN receiver with cd/tape and mp3 playback.
I am just looking for something to put in so I do not have to cut the harness. If it does not fit what is a good aftermarket radio. Looked on Crutchfield and there are a lot but not to many Double Din models.
