Can I get this straight? About a week ago, we were reminded that we were not aloud to post anything regarding 4x4ing in construction sites because it is illegal, but bragging about driving double the speedlimit is aloud? Just thought I would check.

Well in my state it's not quite double the speed limit, but pretty close:)

I would never condone driving an SUV that fast, believe me all saftey measures were taken into consideration.
The roadway was dry as dust, wind conditions were nil, I was securely strapped in.
I flipped on the passport 8500, no Gendarme activity was in sight.
I leaned out the window and asked the Dyno tech how fast I could go, he said let her rip, so I did:)

I don't think Spindle ever said that he reach 124 mph while operating on a road. I do not think the shop he was in had a posted speed limit, nor did the dyno tech impose a speed limit.
