I have an installation tip for the Rancho Quick Lifts. Before installation, remove the damping adjustment knobs! This helps immensely, giving precious additional clearance in the lower control arm area. Just use a 1/8" Allen wrench to remove the two mounting screws, and reinstall the knobs after you have the shocks in place. But before doing so, use this rustproofing tip (not my own) I found on YouTube: pack the valve area with marine grease! Apparently the RS9000 shock is prone to rusting under the knob, and can cause the valve to seize, the grease pack should prevent that, and ensure smooth operation.
