Thanks  Yeah so far the gears are hands down one of the best mods I've ever done. Before I felt like I was towing something heavy anytime I drove...now it feels like its actually got some torque. Still breaking them in for about 200 more miles....then I'll get out on a trail somewhere and test out the locker.

Haha good catch. Forgot to list those. Yeah I am using F-150 tow hooks. It was a little tricky getting them to work with the way the brushguard mounts but they're on there in the last pic.

yea i thought it looked like them. im trying to figure out howto put them on. the ones ive seen look like they hug around the frame, meaning the bumper brackets wont go on.

these bolt to the frame but actually dip downward away from it. Maybe get a bracket of some kind welded on?

i see what youre saying, they have folded sides and i was thinking you hug that over the frame, which would make the hook so higher up.
youre saying do it the other way so it hangs down. this is how you meant?(only down not sidways like this)

Yes, the tow hooks fit on exactly as you described. The flat side is what bolts to the frame, those vertical pieces are just for strength.

45 dollars for 2 is a good price....they are very solid and I think you'll like them.

The new arms are in full production and I got a text from Brandon last week that they should be shipped out any day now.

good plan, ive been thinking the same. my train horn one wont cut it tho.
advise, compressor is noisey(atleast mine is). i dont like it inside turned on. best options ive thought of it the cubby in the back, seal it off and hide it inside there and add a crapload of sound deadener

      35" x 12.5" Fill Rate
      15 to 30 PSI 3 Min. 25 Sec
maybe get a 2nd compressor for the tank? i think that would speed it up

Yeah I was thinking of mounting both the compressor and tank it in the hidden compartment that is under the floor of the main cargo area. Only issue might be air circulation but I could always open it up when using it but that kind of defeats the purpose of keeping it quiet

Other option would be to mount both compressor and tank on the frame rails under the truck.

i thought of that too, but opted not to cause of corrosion of slamming down onto something and busting it. if you could add some kind of skid plate itd be better.
it may not be so bad to mount it inside in the open, since its only when youre outside filling tires. just make sure its not in the way incase you need room.
i do suggest train horns to be hooked up to the tank tho :)

yeah after seeing that some people put it in their engine bay which is hot as hell I think the interior mounting location will be fine.

I'm going to also run two main lines with quick disconnects to the front and rear bumper.

Air horns lol, maybe I should get the Dukes of Hazzard one so I can play Dixie lol, or even better, one that plays the Marine Corps hymn.
