i had this problem and after a complete tune up, spark plugs and wires, fuel filter, air filter, injector check, bg44k, inspected and cleaned all sensors, replaced o2 sensors (some one told me it might make a difference), i smoke tested the engine through to oil fill cap and found multiple vacuum leaks. the worst one was from my idle air control valve. i resealed that and did a battery reset to reset adaptations and my x is running great! i just wanted to put this info out there encase any one else is trying to find info on this. im glad i did the tune up anyway, im at 200k now but maybe test for vacuum leaks before spending all the money haha. i should have thought of it a long time ago, but for some reason it never crossed my mind.
i hope this helps some one!
best of luck
